Infinite Promotional Solutions on Rhode Island Wind Farm

Following Europe’s lead, the U.S. has finally taken the first step in harnessing one of the most powerful energy forces on earth: ocean winds. In a project our team at Infinite Promotional Solutions has closely followed, the nation’s first off-shore wind farm has emerged in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s located just three miles of the coast of Block Island, Rhode Island.

The emergence of this wind farm is significant because it’s been a long time in the making. This is the first set of turbines to emerge from the depths of the ocean floor, more than a decade since then-President George W. Bush signed into law the Energy Policy Act. This law encourages innovative ways to produce energy. Deepwater Wind, the Providence firm at the helm of the Block Island Wind Farm, overcame significant resistance to implement the turbines.

Our Infinite Promotional Solutions team predicts the firm will have the last laugh. Already, other coastal states, including Massachusetts and New York, are looking to wind energy to help their residents reduce their carbon footprints. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is seeking to attain 50 percent of the state’s power from renewable sources by 2030. An off-shore wind farm would be a tremendous step in that direction.

Clean energy like wind power is what will make our planet greener and healthier for all. Our Infinite Promotional Solutions team salutes those who tap into the wealth of renewable energy like this.
